| Zaccagnini | www.zaccagnini.it |   The Azienda Agricola F.lli Zaccagnini can be found in the beautiful hills of the Staffolo area within the Marche region. Wine has been made here for thousands of years, most notably by the Benedittini monks during the XII and XIII centuries. One of the famous legends of this area came from the XV century when the "Lanzichenicchi" mercenaries were pillaging and rampaging various towns. They were stopped at the gates of Staffolo because they were won over by the Verdicchio of this area. Both the Verdicchio and Rosso Conero by Zaccagnini are very well made wines available at a very reasonable price. |  |
