Spirits have been back in trend for awhile now and we have done our research! We pride ourselves in taking time to select boutique producers who honor handmade wines and spirits, and Cadée is no exception. Meet Cadée, the distillery based on the Isle of Whidbey in Washington, whose name means “pure” in Gaelic.. The spirits are made by the Campbells, descendants of a Scottish family who have been making spirits for over 500 years. The line includes Cadée Bourbon Whiskey, Cadée Rye, Intrigue Gin, Cadée Deceptivus Bourbon Whiskey and Cascadia Rye Whiskey, each offering a unique flavor profile.

Tasting Notes: A full, rich and balanced Bourbon with flavors of cinnamon, walnut, and allspice. Oak and vanilla undertones imparted by barrel maturtion and the elements of the Pacific Northwest. A handcrafted biscuit quality with hints of chocolate caress the palate as a certain rye spiciness adds flair to the overall taste.
With a long, spicy and satisfying finish, this whiskey is utterly delicious.

Nose: This Rye Whiskey is a banquet for the senses. A masterful and richly balanced spirit that embodies the best attributes of the profile.
Tasting Notes: Richly balanced with a range of spice notes, including pepper, nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon. Mint and dried apple are apparent, with undertones of oak, soft caramel and vanilla. On the palate, spice predominates counterbalanced by fresh mint, oak, vanilla and chocolate flavors.

Cascadia Rye Whiskey gently rolls over the tongue like waves to the shore. Created at Cadee distillery in Port Clinton.

Handmade in small batches on the Isle of Whidbey, Washington.
Aging: This Rye Whiskey was first matured in new American Oak barrels, then double barrel finished in French oak casks previously used for maturing rich, 20 year old Port in Portugal. The casks were transferred to the distillery’s No.I vault, the Isle of Whidbey’s oldest maturation warehouse. Located at sea level on the shores of Port Clinton, the spirit was left to mature under nature’s care. The straight Rye developed into one of the most incredible whiskies we have produced. With an aroma rich in port, cocoa, dark cherries, toffee, chocolate and mature oak on the palate, the concentration of flavors is inimitable.
Nose: Rich and full, yet mild. Lingers in the mind.
Tasting Notes: Rich, delicately spicy and very smooth.

All barrels in Cadee vaults are carefully prepared and regularly checked for flavor. Everything about this spirit is so unique and exclusive, we knew these barrels would birth a truly great whiskey.
Nose: Round, rich and distinctly smooth bourbon aroma.
Tasting Notes: This marriage of delicious bourbon with Portuguese port produces a seminal whiskey. Very smooth with a characteristic, lingering bourbon run. The port barrel finishing influence balances out the the bourbon’s presence perfectly.

Intrigue Gin is full of character and botanicals, with a subtle citrus focus. For centuries the juniper branch and citrus fruits have been used to represent gin. A hand drawn image of citrus fruits graces our label for Intrigue, as well as the Isle of Whidbey Label on the rear.
ABV: 44% / 88 Proof
Handmade in small batches on the Isle of Whidbey, Washington.
Distilled from Grain – 18th Century Recipe.
Nose: Intrigue Gin is full of character and botanicals, with an attenuated citrus focus.
Tasting Notes: Refreshing flavors on the palate. Slightly off dry. Moderated juniper and coriander with a citrus focus.
