They don’t call it the roaring twenties for nothing!  Angelini Wine was thrilled to present our Carpene Malvolti Prosecco at WGBH’s ‘Evening Inspired by Downton Abbey’ on February 27th and March 1st held at the WGBH Studios.

In true period fashion, WGBH transformed their studios into 1922 Britain.  Beautiful costumes, historical era presentations, music, food and drink created the perfect ambiance to celebrate the latest season of the popular PBS television series. Attendees enjoyed early jazz music while they surrounded the The Cocktail Guru table, where period cocktails were crafted by Jonathan Pogash and Troy Clarke and where the popular Carpene Prosecco was served.

This event has become an annual celebration for many Downton Abbey fans in the Boston area.

If you are hosting an Downton Party, consider serving the Carpene Malvolti Prosecco in a short 20s style coupe glasses and offer  cocktail like ‘The Aviation Cocktail’.
