Exciting news here as we announce the new packaging of Angelini Pinot Grigio DOC and Angelini Pinot Noir IGT.   It was time for a new fresh look for some of our top selling value priced Italian wines.  What makes the announcement even more special is that the artwork used for the labels and shippers was inspired by Julius Angelini’s son, Ethan Angelini (who was 9 at time of creation).  The updated packaging definitely brings a more modern appearance to these very popular wines which have been sold nationwide for more than 30 years.

Ethan Angelini loves to draw and one day his father, Julius (owner of Angelini Wine, LTD) noticed a picture he was working on. “I thought the picture was interesting and it occurred to me that it might make a good label,” states Julius.  “The art work has vibrant colors and wonderful energy.  Interestingly, it elicits different reactions from each individual that sees the new label.  We are proud to offer the next generation of Angelini Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir, even more so with a great family connection to the labeling.”

These select Angelini wines are from Italy’s northeast Veneto region. The Pinot Grigio is fresh and crisp with flavors of tropical fruits and fresh peaches while the Pinot Noir has deep red fruit flavors, bright acidity, and a velvety soft mouth feel. Both are young, easy drinking wines.  The 2017 vintage of Pinot Grigio now has DOC designation of delle Venezie, increasing the quality at the same value pricing.
