Julius Angelini was recently interviewed by Marcy Jones of WFSB Great Day Connecticut 9am for a #winewednesday segment to talk about Wines for Thanksgiving!

2021 Il Borro Lamelle Chardonnay 750ml

100% Chardonnay with a brilliant straw yellow color with slight reflections of gold, this delicate Italian Chardonnay is sure to please. The bouquet has tropical fruit scents with a slightly spicy vanilla note with a pleasant, fresh taste and marked mineral note. 2021 Il Borro Rose del Borro 750ml

Il Borro proudly introduced their 1st Rose in 2017-the 100% Sangiovese Rosé Del Borro.  This bright pink in color wine has a distinguished, lively bouquet of white flowers and fresh fruits. The taste is delicate and crisp with hints of berries and a fresh and balanced finish. Ideal food pairings include fish and first course dishes or it is lovely served alone as an aperitif.

2019 Il Borro Pian Di Nova 750ml

The Il Borro Pian di Nova is a Super Tuscan blend of 75% Syrah and 25% Sangiovese varietals. The ruby red wine begins with an intense, strong and spicy note with hints of black fruits. The full-bodied wine is persistent with a spicy, fruit end. Pairing recommendations include aged cheeses, light cured meats, dry fruits and pasta dishes with mushrooms or ragout.

2015 Il Borro Bolle di Borro 750ml

The uniqueness of Bolle di Borro, is that it rests on its yeast for over 60 months. With all of the elegance of Sangiovese, the perlage of Bolle is fine and persistent. The aromatics evoke fresh bread crust and hints of the crisp freshness of Sangiovese. In the mouth it has a creamy texture, silky, with a juicy, tanginess typical of Sangiovese. Enjoy as an aperitif or throughout a meal, with refined and structured fish and meat dishes.
