Orchard Lane is the little sister brand of Sugar Loaf Wines, a great little family wine company in the heart of the Marlborough wine-growing region with 21 hectares of vines and our own custom built production winery. We are a passionate little team of 6, growing to 10 over the harvest - we love what we do, making great wines without the fuss.

​Owners David and Kate Acland, both come from 5 generations of farmers and growers with a proud history of producing quality food. ​Today they farm sheep, cattle, honey and wine and a new generation has begun with their 3 young children involved in all of their enterprises.

From this proud history we take our philosophy of farming and growing with a `light-touch`, we take a 100 year view on every decision we make on our farm and vineyards. We are certified sustainable in our vineyards and winery through Sustainable Wine growing NZ and we`re farming in the best way we know how with the goal of leaving our lands in better heart than when we began.
